The opinions of those featured in "The Clown Car" are their own and should not be seen as a negative reflection on decent and upstanding circus or birthday party clowns.

These people are, at best... idiots.

March 26, 2009 - San Francisco Values Democrat Ellen Tauscher (CA) has introduced H.R. 1283, the “Military Readiness Enhancement Act Of 2009.” She already has 136 co-sponsors.

Clown Bullet PointHer misnamed bill should be called the “Legalization Of Sodomy On The Battlefield And Barracks Act” to more accurately describe what the legislation will legalize.

This will open up the possibility that every sexual orientation could be legalized in the military! This will include cross-dressing and transsexualism. Proof of this is that several bills are being pushed through Congress that will make drag queens and transgenders into federally protected minorities.

The passage of H.R. 1283 is a recipe for disaster in the military – and our national security will be jeopardized by permitting homosexuals, drag queens and others with bizarre sex habits to serve openly in the Armed Forces.

Transgender Rights Defeated In New Hampshire

by Lauren R. Dorgan - The Concord Monitor

March 27, 2009 - House lawmakers yesterday rejected a bill that would extend protection to transgender individuals under the state's anti-discrimination and hate-crimes laws. The bill failed by a 15-vote margin, largely along party lines.

Opponents dubbed the measure the "bathroom bill"; they painted a picture of men and women walking into bathrooms and saunas as they pleased.

Rep. Nancy Elliot
"I don't want a man coming, sitting next to me in the sauna. Do you?" said Rep. Nancy Elliot (pictured at left), a Merrimack (NH) Republican.

Focus on the Family

Tom MinneryTom Minnery

Dear Friend,

I told you last summer about a new Colorado law that gave special “public accommodation” protections to people who self-identify as homosexual or "transgender.” I shared with you how Focus on the Family Action warned lawmakers that this legislation would reap a whirlwind of social problems. We specifically warned them that their vote for this bill would even allow men to use women’s restrooms—right alongside women and even young girls.

Not surprisingly, a number of alarming incidents have already been reported to us:

But those will likely represent just the tip of the iceberg as this "bathroom bill" policy becomes known.

What can you do?

I'd like to invite you to team up with us as a monthly financial partner. Your regular support - whether it's $10 a month or $100 or more - allows us to more effectively plan, budget and carry out our work for the long haul.

Sincerely,

Tom Minnery

Editor's Postscript

Our first inclination was to bluntly identify Mr. Minnery's anecdotes for what they are - lies. But in our ongoing commitment to balanced and accurate reporting, we dug a little deeper and discovered that Focus on the Family (and their supporters) are, apparently, "Ground Zero" for what some would say are hard to believe encounters.

In addition to those reported above, we've heard from several individuals about these unverified (therefore they must be true!) sightings:

Everyone is entitled to their opinion... but these people are idiots.
